VOLUNTEER
There are a number of volunteer opportunities available with Astegos throughout the year both in our warehouse and at our community events. Whether you enjoy organizing, cleaning, maintenance, food & drink service, baking or photography, we are sure there is a way you can use your skills and passion in a volunteer role!
There is no minimum age requirement to volunteer, so everyone can get involved! However, those under 18 will require a parent or appropriate adult with them to supervise.

Astegos Community Warehouse: Nampa
Volunteer to help sort and organize donations at our Community Warehouse in Nampa ready for sourcing by our members!

IN THE COMMUNITY
Unplug & Play at Zoo Boise - Friday April 11th 2025
On Friday April 11th, we will be attending a free event sponsored by Friends of Children & Families Inc at Zoo Boise, to hand out FREE toys to the children who attend. To make this event possible, we need volunteers to help with setting up, registering families, toy distribution and packing up at the end of the event. We have split the day into 2 hour shifts but you are welcome to sign up for more than one shift if you wish to volunteer for longer!

Unplug & Play at Kuna Mud Run - Saturday August 2nd 2025
On Saturday August 2nd we will be at Kuna Mud Run handing out FREE toys to the children at the event. To make the event possible, we need volunteers to help with setting up, registering families, toy distribution and packing up at the end of the day. We are also looking for volunteers with a passion for photography to help capture the event. We have split the day into 2 hour shifts but you are welcome to sign up for more than one shift if you wish to volunteer for longer!

On Saturday September 13th we will be running a FREE event at Barber Park for families. The event will have FREE bounce houses, FREE food & drinks and a FREE toy giveaway! To make the event possible, we need volunteers to help with setting up, registering families, toy distribution, food & drink assistants and packing up at the end of the day. We are also looking for volunteers with a passion for photography to help capture the event. We have split the day into 2 hour shifts but you are welcome to sign up for more than one shift if you wish to volunteer for longer!

FOOD PANTRY
Living Word Church Meridian Food Pantry
Volunteer at Living Word Church Food Pantry in Meridian. Volunteer shifts are available every Friday and Sunday between 12pm and 5:30pm. Volunteers can get involved with setting up, organizing and distributing food in addition to cleaning up at the end of the day.

VOLUNTEER GROUPS
Looking for a fun and rewarding group activity? We love hosting large volunteer groups! Whether you're from a school, church, youth group, business or nonprofit, we would love to have you join us. There is no age restriction on volunteering so everyone can get involved, but under 18s will need a parent or appropriate adult to supervise.
